Introduction

Since the majority of my writing these days has been relegated to interoffice e-mails and 140 character quips, my verbal skills have rapidly gone all the way from "proficient" to "Forrest Gump-y" in a matter of a few months since graduating college. Whereas I used to write several pages a week for class, I have now resorted to simply pointing at things and grunting.

Therefore, in an effort to lure my carpal tunnel syndrome out of remission, I have decided to find something to write about often. Now, my normal daily schedule consists of: Waking, showering, driving to work, working, driving home, eating, watching TV, sleeping, pissing the bed, blaming it on my dog, going back to sleep, having the same dream where I show up to a test I haven't studied for, waking up and repeating. There isn't much there to divulge to the world except for the television watching. I watch a lot of television. Actually, let me rephrase that. I don't exactly watch every show on TV, but I watch
a handful of shows religiously to the point that I think I have enough authority to write about them.

(My inspiration for this comes from my obsessive reading of TV Club on AVClub.com. I am an altogether dedicated follower of the site and especially when it comes to scouring each episodic review of my favorite shows.)

Therefore, I will try my hardest to post my reviews of each episode for the shows I choose after they air. Considering I DVR several of them, some may be more belated than others. (I say this into the ether but as if I'm speaking to some massive demanding audience. I think the official website for the movie Sphere will get more traffic than this.)

So, as it stands, these are the shows I will be following:
The Office
30 Rock
Community
Parks and Recreation
-sidenote: In my opinion, NBC's Thursday lineup last year singlehandedly got me up in the morning until they had to muck it up with Outsourced.
Saturday Night Live (Which may have lost some luster but is well worth commentary still.)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Eastbound and Down
Boardwalk Empire

Occasionally: South Park, Running Wilde, various others, etc..

Also, when a new show comes out that looks interesting e.g. The Walking Dead on Oct. 31st, I will be sure to share my thoughts.

Keep in mind, this is for the current season. Perennial favorites such as Mad Men and Breaking Bad will get their fair share as soon as they are back on the air.

So, for all those reading out there i.e. one acne-ridden teen in Fairbanks, Alaska who accidentally Googled my last name, sit back, turn down your Ham radio, eat the Bugles off your Marfan Syndromed fingers and read on.

  1. if you could add keeping up with the kardashians and modern family to your list, those are the ones of interest to me.

  2. Also review Bored to Death, Walking Dead, Cougar Town, and Monday Night Football. And make your About Me picture less "autistic"
